Born in Frankfurt, Germany he was brought into close contact with nature while spending a part of his childhood living in Lake Echo and Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. He has since lived in Munich, The Hague, Berlin and Brussels.

He graduated 2013 in The Hague, Netherlands with an LLB degree in International & European Law, Specialization International Humanitarian and International Criminal Law (Summa cum Laude). He was an Intern at the Appeals Chamber of the former UN International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) (The Hague) and at the German Federal Foreign Office, Department Disarmament and Arms Control, Sub-division Chemical and Biological Weapons (Berlin).

Gregor is instinctively drawn to Japanese aesthetics because classical and medieval Japanese culture defined beauty through nature-based aesthetic paradigms.

Wood-framed matte photographic Prints from 侘寂 Wabi-Sabi Nature Photography are part of the Japandi Interior Design style.

Japandi is a fusion of Japanese and Scandinavian design, with an emphasis on Minimalism, Nature, Authenticity and Craftsmanship.
